Am I a Candidate For Microblading, Powder, Ombre, Combo Brows?
The Treatment is not suitable for those who are:
* Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system / healing would make you NOT a good candidate for micropigmentation procedure.
If you have a condition and would like to double check with us if you are a candidate, please contact us.
How Long Does the Brow Treatment Take?
The microblading procedure is performed by a certified microblading technician and takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Powder, Ombre, or Combo Brows takes approximately 2 - 2.5 hours. During this session, we will shape and style the client’s brows according to facial features and bone structure for client approval. We then follow with pigment colour selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.
The client is to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups. The second session takes place 6-8 weeks of the initial session. This session will take approximately 40 minutes to complete for microblading and 60 minutes for powder brows.
Do I Require A Consultation Appointment before my brow appointment?
No. You do not need to book a consultation appointment before getting your brows done. If you are unsure about which technique, how they will be shaped, or would feel most comfortable meeting me first and talking and asking questions as I walk you through the entire process, then I recommend booking an in-person consultation appointment.
* If you have previous brow tattoos done, then I need to see your brows before you book. Please send a picture or book a consultation (either is acceptable) to verify if I can work with it/over top/ correct it. *
Free Online Consultations are available. If This is Something You are Interested in Instead, Please Email me and also a photo of your bare brows to beautybrowtiquemicroblading@gmail.com. Clear, well-lit photo(s) with no eyebrow makeup or filters work the best.
Does Microblading , Combo Brows, Powder Ombre Brows Hurt? Is it Painful?
After the first pass of Microblading, you are numbed with a topical anesthetic, therefore the level of pain experienced is very minimal. You are numbed before and during your powder/ ombre brows treatment. That being said, everyone's skin and pain threshold are different, so everyone will have varying experiences. Some feel nothing at all. We are regularly given the expression "That's it!?" by our clients when we begin microblading due to how little is felt. Many of my clients even fall asleep!
How Long Does Microblading, Combination Brows, Powder/Ombre Brows Last?
Pigment retention varies from person to person depending on skin type, age, aftercare, immune system, medications, certain chemicals, and the type of pigment used, but results typically last 12-18 Months before a colour boost is needed for microblading & combination brows and 12-24 months for powder brows. Please note that final results can not be guaranteed, as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment during your touch up session and make any changes necessary. Multiple sessions are normal for cosmetic tattoo procedures, with each new procedure requiring a minimum of 2 visits. Your second session can be booked no sooner than 6 - 8 weeks after the initial appointment. Additional sessions will be charged according to our current touch up pricing.
Do you have to Shave off my eyebrows off To Get Microblading, Combination Brows, or Powder /Ombre Brows Done ?
No!
Should I Get My Eyebrows Waxed Or Threaded Before my Microblading or Powder Brows Appointment?
It is not necessary to get your eyebrows waxed or threaded before your appointment. If you did happen to do so, make sure it is done at least 2 days before your appointment. During your appointment, we will shape, clean up and remove all stray hairs that don't belong with your new shape. You will leave with clean, flawless, beautiful brows in every aspect!

24 Hours before your Appointment:
-No Alcohol.
On the day of your appointment:
-No caffeine, energy drinks, exercising, alcohol, drugs/ cannabis. These factors affect your retention of the pigment and will jeopardize having good healed results. After your appointment you may have any of the above.
-Please wash your hair the morning of your appointment or night before as you will need to avoid the shower for a few days. Baths are recommended.
Note: Many new clients are worried about having to hide their face during the healing period. If you follow the aftercare instructions, you will have extremely minimal scabbing and realize the healing process is not so bad/noticable after all.
The eyebrow area may be slightly red and a little swollen after the procedure and the brows may appear darker, thicker, and may look sharply defined. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade/lighten by 30-50% and slightly shrink in size as the brows heal.
It will take between 7-14 days for the skin to begin to appear healed and
1 Month to 6 weeks for the pigment in the skin to fully settle in and show it's true colour.
Day1-5:
Brows will appear darker & thicker, scabbing forms over the strokes/or shading to protect the area while healing.
Day 5-10:
As the scabs start falling off, they may appear patchy (be patient, it is just a few days, the balm will help with the flaking and itching).
Day 10-15:
The pigment may look extremely light, even non-existent looking, or milky looking due to the skin tissue still healing, it is completely normal.
Day 15-30:
The pigment will begin to "come back" once the skin tissue undergoes further healing and the colour will appear darker.
Do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the tattooed area.
It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You’ll notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. This is known as 'milk skin' and is common in tattooing. This is due to the the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed.
True color will reveal itself once fully healed which is approximately after 1 MONTH to 6 weeks from your initial appointment day.
It is important to carefully and diligently follow the aftercare instructions provided to you in order to achieve good healed results.
Trust The Process.
Printed Aftercare instructions and Healing Balm Will Be Provided and Clearly explained to You During Your Appointment.
